ABOUT JORDI LISTER
Jordi received her B.F.A. in Studio Art in 2016 and her M.F.A. in ceramics in 2019.
She resides in Oklahoma with her husband Rob, two daughters Elliot and Willow, and dog Captain. She divides her time between making art and being a mom. In her free time, she enjoys meaningful conversations, coffee, wine, and a good book.
EXPERIENCE/PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT
2021- Current Adjunct Professor, Oklahoma City University, Oklahoma City, Oklahoma
Courses taught; ceramics and sculpture, drawing and design 1, Drawing 2. Other service including; planning and organizing of ceramic and sculpture course with Covid-19 protocols, repairing kilns, cleaning and organizing 3D room and tools.
2021- Current Adjunct Professor, University of Central Oklahoma, Edmond, Oklahoma
Courses taught; 2D Design, 3D Design, Drawing 1, and Color Theory
2022- Oklahoma Contemporary Studio School. Hand building ceramics instructor.
2017- 2018- Grad Assistant Art History Department, University of Massachusetts Dartmouth
Responsibilities included managing, grading, and corresponding with undergraduate art history students with class sizes ranging from 30-200 students.
2016-2017- Studio Kiln Tech, University of Massachusetts Dartmouth. Responsibilities including maintaining, repairing, firing, kilns as well as mixing clay, and managing firing schedules for undergrad and graduate students.
2015-2016- Studio Assistant, University of Central Oklahoma. Responsibilities included aiding in demonstration instruction for underclassmen students, mixing glaze and clay, and general studio maintenance and cleaning.
